The next Orca Divers Club event is a pub meeting at the Horse and Jockey pub in Chorlton on Tuesday 9th March from 7pm. A talk by Jamie from African Space on photography and diving in South Africa will also be included in this club night.
Orca Divers Club Membership give you access to our regular pool session on Wednesday and Friday evenings. We do not put these on the Club Calendar as we do them every week. CLub members are welcome to book onto any of these sessions. We run special deep pool sessions every 6 weeks where we have our 5.1m pool set to max. depth for the whole session which makes this your perfect chance to practice Buoyancy, SMB Deployment, Free-diving, Underwater Photography on our artificail reef, skills or just have some fun in this magnificent pool.
Club Membership costs £100 per year and for this you get: 1 free pool skills refresher, 1 free dry suit orientation, free access to pool sessions including equipment hire - must be booked well in advance!, 10% off in the shop and on non-professional courses, Diving trips in the UK and abroad, Special offers on equipment and courses, Regular social events. Our recent social events include: Beer Tasting by Pi, Shark Trust Quiz, Wine Tasting by Reserve, Hyperbaric Chamber Trip. Our club members have dived in these locations recently: Capernwray, Trefor Pier, Sharm, Zanzibar, Manado.
